英文摘要 | The shallow threshold stress is obtained when the secondary stress reaches the crack stress under the corresponding confining stress. And the deep threshold stress is obtained when the crack stress under in-situ confining stress reaches the maximum stress. The maximum stress is determined by the criteria for structural failure of rock based on energy dissipation and energy release principles. The mathematic expressions that define the shallowness, transition zone and deepness of certain rock mass are presented. The failure mechanics of rock mass in the three different zones are discussed respectively. Taking the granite from Dagangshan power-station for example, a series of tri-axial compression tests under different confining pressures are carried out to obtain the crack stress values. The relationship between crack stress and confining stress is obtained by numerical fitting method, and the granite's shallowness, transition zone, deepness are quantitatively defined. |
