Application of Steel Rail Pile in retaining Wall to support Soil Slope

英文摘要 | The controlled parameters of centrifuge model tests were determined by the indoor physical and mechanical test both of undisturbed and disturbed soils from the residual soil slope. Then there were serials of centrifuge model tests of the residual soil slope supported by the gravity retaining wall with steel rail pile and the excavation without supporting on the conditions of natural and heavy rain and their effects were evaluated. Indoor tests results show that ( 1) the heavy rain induces the rapid slide of slope during the excavation without supporting, ( 2) the extending effect of steel rail pile increases the overturning resistance ability of retaining wall without increasing its own weight and the active pressure in its back is more evenly distributed, which avoids the local stress concentration. In situ monitoring data show that the steel rail pile plays an effective role in the gravity retaining wall to support residual soil slope, which prevents the deterioration of the slide's geological disasters effectively. As a new supporting mode, the gravity retaining wall combined with steel rail pile has the prospect in design, construction and disaster prevention of soil slope in mountains. |
