| 英文摘要 | With the rapid construction of large-scale hydropower plants in the last twenty years, especially in western china, seismically active areas, more and more ultra-large span deep underground rock chambers appear. Although severe damage to undergroud openings was not observed during recent earthquakes, the performance of these huge caverns under possible future seismic attack is not fully known. To date, the finite element or finite difference method is certainly the most comprehensive approach to analyze the seismic response of rock caverns. However, its use usually requires high numerical costs which are often difficult to achieve, because the 3D discrete model of the underground power station caverns is always composed of millions of DOFs. This makes use of the numerical simulation method not very attractive for current applications. The fast lagrangian explicit finite difference method is an extremely powerful numerical simulation method dedicated to the solution of large-scale dynamic problems in rock mechanics. Because large-scale calculation is seriously limited by the computation rates attainable on computers with serial architecture, and parallel-processing can achieve much higher rates. This paper presents the parallel algorithm for high-performance of FLAC and its application to 3D seismic response analysis of large-scale underground caverns group. Our main goal is to achieve a high level of efficiency for numerical simulation. A case study is presented for accuracy and high efficiency of the proposed parallel approach. |
