英文摘要Waste dump piled by overburden is one of the major hazards to open-pit mining. It is believed that the spatial clamp effect of convex and divergent effect of concave, due to the interaction of base and dump body, as well as essential relationship between height and radius of curvature which should be abided by 2D or 3D stability analysis is given on the basis of field test, theoretical analysis and physical model. When the curvature radius r is less than 2h, the stability should be calculated using 3D analysis. Comprehensive active countermeasure, such as intelligently using dumping-site space and adjusting time-space relation during waste dumps emission was established according to spatial effect. Demonstrated by field commercial test, analysis methodology and counter measure give consideration to both the safety and the economy to meet with the dump production in mine.
