Crack propagation rule of compound type in surrounding rock of circular hydraulic tunnel in hydraulic fracturing process

英文摘要 | Mechanism study of crack propagation plays an important role in hydraulic fracturing research. In this essay, the load-bearing analysis of hydraulic tunnel and crack propagation research are combined. After defining inner water pressure of crack propagation in surrounding rock nearby tunnel as critical water pressure, analytical solutions of crack initiation angle and critical water pressure are derived, when crack of I - II compound type propagates in the surrounding rock of circular hydraulic tunnel. Based on the proposed analytical solutions, the influences on crack initiation angle and critical water pressure of crack characteristics (trend, length and depth) and geological environment (geostress and seepage) are researched. The results show that the crack buried depth will impact on the critical water pressure; however, it will not affect the crack initiation angle. Besides, the crack propagation type has no relation with the crack initiation angle. Furthermore, crack propagation of shear-compressive type has more probability than shear-tensile type; especially, along with increase of geostress, the original crack propagation of shear-tensile type may translate into shear-compressive type. Moreover, crack initiation angle will decrease along with reduction of crack length and geostress. And it is advantageous for structural stability of tunnel with shorter crack, higher geostress and bigger buried depth. Finally, the influences of seepage parameters on crack initiation angle and critical water pressure are much less, compared with other influencing factors. |
