Investigation on creep behavior of salt rock and creep pressure on oil casing in deep stratum

英文摘要 | The oil casing in deep salt rock layer is often demolished in the period of operating, and it causes economic losing of hundreds of millions in Chinese oil field each year. At the same time it is also a difficult problem to drill the oil hole in the salt rock layer. All problems are caused by creep behavior of salt rock. In this paper, creep behavior of salt rock is studied by test and is simulated by three-dimension numerical method. The exponent creep constitutive law is proved to be fit for the steady creep of salt rock by the test. The numerical method- the Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua in three-dimension is used to simulate the exponent creep constitutive law. Based on the ratio of creep which was measured in three oil wells in Xinjiang province, China, the creep parameter-A, n of salt rock is back-analyzed. The creep pressure of salt rock on the oil casing is also simulated in a case. In the case, the casing of P110*11.51mm (demolished strength: 74.4MPa) were demolished in the salt rock layer. The incident happened at the seventh day after installing the casing. The analytic result shows that the creep pressure reaches the casing strength-74MPa at the ninth day. It is the major reason of casing demolishment. The analytical result accords with the engineering practice. |
