| 英文摘要 | This paper presents a modified common plane (CP) method for detecting contacts of three-dimensional discrete elements. In this approach, contacts involving a face are determined in a direct manner, while other contacts are recognized by the original CP algorithm. Thus, the iterative procedure for positioning CP in the contact detection is not needed in most cases. Due to its straightforward procedure, the modified detection algorithm has higher efficiency and accuracy than the original one. |
