英文摘要Water content is one of the most important factors influencing rock strength. This paper presented a number of experimental results on investigating damage evolution mechanism of fractured rock mass under different water content. Based on the shear test of fractured rock mass under different water content and normal stress, shear stress-shear deformation curves and shear strength parameters was obtained, meanwhile, the effect of water content on shear strength of fractured rock mass was analyzed. In addition, shear strength criteria of fractured rock mass which taking water content into account was established. By comparison of calculated results and experimental results, it was indicated that the model agrees well with the experimental results. Based on available experimental data, the model is of great practical value for estimating the sensitivity of rock mass to water content.
