英文摘要Groundwater is an important factor that impacts the stability of slope. Rainfall infiltration is the main reason that causes the change of the groundwater seepage of slope. The groundwater seepage of high rock slope is related to the history of long-term rainfall. Therefore, a long-term process must be considered in order to study the influence of rainfall infiltration on groundwater of high rock slope. Response process of rainfall on groundwater seepage of a high rock slope was studied considered the rainfall during the whole year. The results show that it only form a transient saturated zone in the unsaturated zone above the water table in low-intensity rainfall, and can not cause a marked change of the deep groundwater level; sustaining heavy rain may obviously impact the deep groundwater level of the high rock slope; the change of deep groundwater level of the high rock slope was only a few metres during the whole year, even encountered the heavy rain of one in 50 years.
