英文摘要Impulse response of surface loading on the earth, including the solution in time and frequency domain, is investigated based on PREM model and Zschau's viscosity model inside of the earth. The complex Love number and complex Green function obtained show that, in the case of omega > 10(-8)/s, the response of the earth can be considered essentially as a pure elastic one; only in the case of the long period motions, such as glacial rebound and mantle convection, the viscosity becomes more important. When omega < 10(-13)/s, the earth seems to be in a liquid position.
