中文摘要 | (1) Watershed ecology provides a proper scale for the research on the social economy regarding the level of watershed. (2) In order to investigate a certain size of watershed on a scientific basis, it is necessary to treat it as an ecosystem. The watershed ecosystem is a social-economic-natural complex, in which the natural system is the basis, the economic system is the driving force, and the social system is the roof. (3) The scientific basis of a watershed's ecosystem is watershed ecology. Watershed ecology can be defined as a new ecological subject which regards watershed as a study unit: dynamics of information, energy and material among upland, riparian zones and waters by means of the theories and methods of modern ecology, mathematics and physics. (4) Main content and aim of watershed ecology is taking inland waters and its catchment as the study object. Research contents denote the relationship between patterns and processes of watershed ecosystems and scale coherence; searching ecosystem functions and maintaining the mechanism of watershed biodiversity; setting up mathematical models and management information systems of watershed ecosystem; providing scientific foundations for the development of rational utilization and conservation of watershed and sustainable development of the region's society and economy. (5) Rational utilization and development of water resources has a special status and importance in watershed ecosystem management; water resources should include four key elements: water quantity, water quality, water power and aquatic organisms. (6) Correct decision of watershed ecosystem management needs accurate scientific data and information. So it is very important to set up a well organized watershed management information system on the internet in order to share information, decrease cost and avoid repetition. |
