| 中文摘要 | Folk Fans is a special group devoted to the scientific activities outside of the science community. They do scientific researches which don’t belong to their jobs area. There are plenty of Folk Fans in many science domains, and a lot of quarrels about the Folk Fans’ work in the science community. Some of the scientists think Folk Fans’ work is good for nothing, but others have opposite opinions. There are plenty of Folk Fans of astronomy which are a part of the Folk Fans. It is useful to know Folk Fans by researching Folk Fans of astronomy. This paper includes five parts altogether. The exordium part introduces the questions and the meaning of this research, and it emphatically explains the analysis frame of the article. It gets the point of view by Statistic and case study. The second part gives the definition of Folk Fans, and analyzed their characters and background, such as their favorite domains, knowledge capability and inhabitancy. It is difficult for the productions to be accepted by the science community because of the lack of scientific systematization of knowledge. The third part analyses Folk Fans’ characters of action, article status and mentality. It compares the differences between Folk Fans and amateur astronomers, and analyses some Folk Fans cases. It is difficult for Folk Fans to communicate with scientists. There are essential differences between Folk Fans and amateur astronomers. The fourth part analyses the reasons which cause the birth of Folk Fans of astronomy. There are many factors including society, epoch and the character of Folk Fans themselves. The fifth part tries hard to draw some conclusions on Folk Fans. It is difficult for them to make success. The backer and the objector should comprehensive treat the social phenomenon. It is important to diffuse science in China. It is very important to utilize media to guide accurately Folk Fans to know how to get success. |
| 英文摘要 | 民间爱好者是在科学共同体之外进行基本理论研究的一个特殊人群，他们凭借个人力量进行理论研究，他们所从事的研究并非他们的本职工作。在科学研究的众多领域都存在大量的民间爱好者，他们各自独立研究自己感兴趣的方向。专业人士对于民间爱好者的工作是否具有科学价值存在很大的争议，有的认为他们的工作没有任何价值，也有人对他们持赞赏的态度。国内天文领域也存在大量的民间爱好者，他们是众多民间爱好者的一部分，对于他们的系统研究有助于正确认识民间爱好者群体。 本文共分五个部分：绪论部分介绍了研究的问题及其意义，着重阐述了文章的框架：以国内天文领域的民间爱好者为研究对象，采用统计分析和个案研究的方法对民间爱好者的群体特征进行剖析，提出本文的观点。 第二部分对天文领域的民间爱好者进行界定，并以此为基础对民间爱好者的背景进行分析，包括民间爱好者关注的领域、学历层次、知识结构、区域分布等，指出民间爱好者的知识结构等决定他们无法取得科学上的成功。 第三部分对他们的行为特征、心理特征、论文特征等进行分析，对民间爱好者和天文爱好者进行比较，同时对民间爱好者个案进行分析，指出他们的行为特征等决定他们很难与科学共同体进行有效的沟通，他们和天文爱好者存在本质的区别。 第四部分对产生民间爱好者的原因进行分析，指出产生民间爱好者既有社会的原因，也有时代的背景因素在内，同时还和民间爱好者的一些性格特点有着直接的联系。 第五部分对民间爱好者这个社会问题得出结论，指出：目前的条件下，民间爱好者很难取得科学上的成功；鼓励者和反对者都应该全面的看待民间爱好者这一社会现象；有必要在中国开展更加合理的科普教育，媒体对于民间爱好者的正确导向具有重要作用。 |
