中文摘要reforming of bio-ethanol over ir/ceo2 catalysts were studied to elucidate the reaction mechanism and to determine catalytic stability. ethoxy species were immediately formed upon ethanol adsorption at room temperature, and most of them were further oxidized to acetate and carbonate species that finally decomposed into ch4, co and co2, respectively. under reaction conditions, acetaldehyde acted as the key intermediate, which mainly decomposed to methane and carbon monoxide. the ir/ceo2 catalyst showed rather high stability for the reactions at 923 k without apparent deactivation for 60 h on- stream even with stoichimetric compositions; the ir particles were still 2–3 nm, but the ceria particles were enlarged significantly.
