中文摘要carboxylic ester has been widely used to replace the aromatic solvents in the production of lacquers, inks and adhesives. butyl acetate was usually produced by acetic acid reaction with butanol [1]. many acidic catalysts such as resin [2], phosphotungstate [3], zeolites, [4] and ionic liquids [5] were reported effective for the reaction. however, direct esterification of butylene with acetic acid is more expected due to the avoidance of water in the reaction system leading to a easy separation for the product, which is also relatively less studied. here, we reporte, for first time, the esterification reaction of butylene with acetic acid over beta zeolites. reaction performance and the reason of deactivation over beta zeolites were studied.
