英文摘要 | A novel transparent millimeter wave transmitarray antenna (TA) using three layers of meshed metal double circle rings elements is presented in this paper. A transparent plastic material, polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is used as the substrate. In order to promote the transparency, a meshed double circle rings unit-cell is designed using several 50 m width metal grid lines. Good agreement between meshed and non-meshed unit-cells is reached at Ka-band. A transparent TA with diameter of 9.9 wavelengths is designed and simulated by the commercial software Ansys HFSS at Ka-band using the proposed elements. By moving the feed along the focal plane of TA, beam scanning up to 30° with low side lobe level, low cross polarization level and wideband performance is reached. © 2018 Institution of Engineering and Technology.All Rights Reserved. |
