One-step synthesis of nanoparticles for near-infrared (NIR) optical imaging

英文摘要 | Cancer causes many deaths every day. We need some effective methods for the treatment of tumor. Firstly, accurately distinguishing the location and size of tumor is very important. With the development of nanotechnology, nanomaterials have many advantages in the treatment of cancer. Therefore, we designed nanoparticle which can differentiate the size and location of tumor with near-infrared (NIR) optical imaging. HA-IR808 was made by conjugating targeted hyaluronic acid (HA) and cyanine (IR808). Then, the macromolecule assembles Nanoparticles (NPs) in water. Active targeting and EPR effect can improve NPs concentration in the solid tumor. If the tumor parts were irradiated under near-infrared laser, we would be able to find goals. One-step synthesis simply and quickly of nanoparticle is necessary with the cheap and nontoxic natural products. In general, ADH and IR808 were mixed for 4 h firstly under NHS/EDCl activation in the DMF. Then, EDCl activated HA for 30 min in the water. Lastly, the IR808-ADH solution was mixed with activated HA and stirred for 24 h. The nanoparticles have potential biomedical application in cancer imaging. |
