英文摘要Strong pyrene excimer emission was observed for a new pyrene-thymine dyad that can be easily synthesized in the presence of hg2+ ion. but, the enhancement of pyrene excimer emission was not detected in the presence of other metal ions. as a result, this new pyrene-thymine dyad is suited for use as a sensitive and selective "turn on" fluorescent chemosensor for hg(ii) ion.
