| 英文摘要 | Based on a large sample survey conducted in 2004, this paper presents a market analysis of the bicycle delivery service systems in beijing. the discussion includes distribution companies, distribution services, employment, employees, and customers. in addition to the sample survey, on-the-spot visits and additional analyses were carried out. future trends in bicycle delivery service systems in beijing are also presented. based on a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (swot) model analysis, the paper also forecasts and suggests methods for repositioning bicycle delivery service systems in chinese cities. the suggestions are china-specific and are meant to assist the regulatory authorities in the supervision of the transport logistics system and the standardization of delivery service by means of bicycle. |
