英文摘要Modified polystyrene microspheres with silver shells were prepared by a novel electroless plating approach using complexation mechanism of triethanolamine(tea) and silver ion to reduce oxidation-reduction potential difference and slow down the deposition speed of silver on modified polystyrene spheres. these samples were characterized by tem, uv, xrd, and the synthesis conditions were also investigated. experimental results show that uniform silver shells can be deposited on the modified polystyrene spheres by this method.
