Electrochemical kinetics and its temperature dependence behaviors of Ti0.17Zr0.08V0.35Cr0.10Ni0.30 alloy electrode

英文摘要 | in this paper, the effect of temperature on the electrochemical performances of ti0.17zr0.08v0.35cr0.10ni0.30 alloy electrode, especially the electrochemical kinetics, is investigated systematically. it is found from xrd result that the alloy mainly consists of two phases: v-based solution phase with bcc structure and c14 laves phase with hexagonal structure. the charge-transfer resistance (r-ct) and the exchange current density (i-0) of the alloy electrode are evaluated from the results of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (eis) in the temperature range from 293 to 323 k at different charge-discharge cycles. the charge-transfer resistance (r-ct) decreases and the exchange current density (i0) increases with increasing temperature, which indicates that the electrochemical reaction activity of the alloy electrode increases with the increase of temperature. moreover, the apparent activation energy delta h for the charge-transfer reaction at the electrode surface is determined from the charge-transfer resistance data at different temperatures, which is decreased with increasing cyclic number during charge-discharge process.
