Highly uniform and monodisperse ba(2)cif(3) microrods: solvothermal synthesis and characterization

英文摘要One-dimensional hexagonal ba(2)cif(3) microrods with highly uniform morphology and size have been successfully synthesized via a facile solvothermal method at a low temperature (160 degrees c). x-ray diffraction (xrd), scanning electron microscopy (sem), and transmission electron microscopy (tem) were used to characterize the samples. the synthesis process, based on a phase-transfer and separation mechanism, allows the control of properties such as particle size and shape in low dispersity by bonding the surfactant oleic acid to the crystal surface. we propose a possible formation process and preliminary growth mechanism for the microrods based on the effect of oleic acid. in the synthetic process, oleic acid as a surfactant plays a crucial role in confining the growth of the ba(2)cif(3) microcrystals. under different reaction conditions, ba(2)cif(3) microcrystals with different shapes and sizes can be obtained.
