High performance organic thin film transistor based on pentacene derivative: 6,13-dichloropentacene

英文摘要 | A facile method was developed to synthesize pentacene derivative 6,13-dichloropentacene (DCP) in high yield. The absorption spectra and electrochemistry results showed that the introduction of chlorine substituents lowered the HOMO energy level and increased the environmental stability of the compound. Single crystal diffraction revealed that DCP adopted slipped face-to-face packing mode. pi-pi and C-H center dot center dot center dot Cl interactions were observed in the crystals. The thin film transistor characteristics showed that DCP exhibited high mobility (0.20 cm 2 V-1 s(-1)), low threshold voltage (similar to-2.0 V) and good stability. |
