英文摘要Poly (ethylene terephthalate)/layered double hydroxide (PET/LDH) nanocomposites are novel polymer based nanocomposites with enhanced properties and wide application fields. Compared with neat PET, PET/LDH nanocomposites exhibit greatly enhanced mechanical properties, thermal stability, flame retardancy and UV-shielding ability. This review reports the recent research progress in PET/LDH nanocomposites. First, the composition and structure, preparation and properties of LDHs were briefly introduced. Then, the recent progress of the preparation, structure characterization, crystallization behavior, thermal stability, flame retardancy and UV-shielding properties of the PET/LDH nanocomposites were reviewed. Finally, the prospect of the nanocornposites was briefly described.
