英文摘要A new side chain liquid crystalline polymer based on the backbone of polymethacrylate containing triphenyl which was connected with ester bond as side chain mesogenic moiety, and its flexible spacer was two methylenes was prepared. Fr-IR,H-1-NMR,POM with hot stage, DSC and WAXD were used to study the structure, phase behavior and mesophase texture of this polymer and monomer. The monomer shows nematic and semectic phases and the polymer is nematic over a wide temperature range. The solidification-induced band texture can be observted in nematic phase of the side chain liquid crystalline polymer.
