Electronically engineered interface molecular superlattices: STM study of aromatic molecules on graphite

英文摘要We report the observation of the molecular superlattice driven by the site-dependent adsorption of aromatic molecules on graphite surface by using scanning tunneling microscopy. Furthermore, distinctively different collective assembling characteristics were obtained by introducing coadsorbed molecules or substrate surface charge, revealing the effect of tunable electronic interactions between the molecules and substrate.
