High performance oxygen sensors based on new pyrene derivatives

英文摘要 | A series of new pyrene derivatives was synthesized by silylanization of 1-pyrenebutanol with R(CH3)(2)SiCl, where R is a linear alkyl chain of different length. The spectroscopic properties of these pyrene derivatives were studied in solution and in polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) matrix. Oxygen sensors were prepared by dispersing the pyrene derivatives in PDMS films. It is observed that the oxygen sensitivity and the linearity of Stern-Volmer plots for the oxygen sensors depend significantly on the alkyl chain length. The optical oxygen sensor containing the pyrene derivative with C. linear alkyl chain presents excellent linear Stern-Volmer plot, high oxygen sensitivity and good storage stability. |
