英文摘要{2-[1-(2,6-Diisopropylphenylimino)ethyllpyridyl)palladium dibromide (1) was synthesized and crystallized as red crystals from chloroform in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c or as yellow crystals from methanol in the triclinic space group P (1) over bar. Other solvents, such as THF and acetonitrile, gave mixtures of red and yellow crystals. With very little conformational differences between the molecules in the dimorphs of 1 the crystal packing is a herringbone array in I-red and a parallel array in 1-yellow, with the supramolecular interactions differing in the Br center dot center dot center dot pi and C-H center dot center dot center dot Br contacts.
