Preparation of CdSe/CdS/SiO2 Nanospheres and Their Luminescent Properties

| 英文摘要 | Luminescent CdSe/CdS core-shell quantum dots were synthesized by two-phase method. These CdSe/CdS quantum dots are encapsulated with silica spheres from hydrolysis of tetraethylorthosilicate(TEOS) in the presence of ammonium. Adjusting the amount of quantum dots and ammonia, the reaction temperature and time as well as ratio of solvents, the size of as-prepared CdSe/CdS/SiO2 nanospheres can be tuned in the range of 23-145 nm. The samples are characterized by TEM, UV-Vis, and fluorescence spectrometer, respectively. The highest quantum yield(QY) of the CdSe/CdS/SiO2 sample can reach 8.0%. |
