Synthesis, Structure and Mimic Catalytic Activity of Novel Vanadium Haloperoxidase Model Complexes

英文摘要 | In order to mimic the active center of the V-HPOs, we designed and synthesized a series of oxovanadium complexes containing poly (pyrazolyl) borate ligands: VO(HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)) (3,5-Me(2)pz) (HOOC-CH2CH2COO) (1) and VO(HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)) (3,5-Me(2)pz) (C5H4N-COO) (2), which were characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction. Based on the characteristics that vanadium(V) complexes catalyze phenol red oxidation of bromide into bromophenol blue in a water system under weak-acid condition, the study on catalytic activity about scorpionate oxovanadium(IV) complexes was preformed. The result shows that the scorpionate oxovanadium(IV) complexes exhibit catalytic activity to the extent under the similar conditions. The mechanism of the catalytic reaction was analyzed by molecular orbital theory. |
