英文摘要Five novel ortho-, meta-, and para-methyl-substituted triphenylmethyl methacrylate monomers, such as o-tolyldiphenylmethyl methacrylate (o-MeTrMA), di-o-tolylphenylmethyl methacrylate (o-Me(2)TrMA), tris-o-tolylmethyl methacrylate (o-Me(3)TrMA), tris-m-tolylmethyl methacrylate (m-Me(3)TrMA), and tris-p-tolylmethyl methacrylate (p-Me(3)TrMA) have been synthesized. The methanolysis rates of these monomers were measured in CDCl3-CD3OD (1:1, v/v) by H-1 NMR spectroscopy at 30 degreesC. It was found that the order of the methanolysis rates would be TrMAo-Me(2)TrMA>o-Me(3)TrMA and m-Me(3)TrMA>p-Me(3)TrMA>o-Me(3)TrMA.
