Blends of syndiotactic polystyrene and isotactic polypropene prepared by reactor polymerization

| 英文摘要 | Blends of syndiotactic, polystyrene (sPS) and isotactic polypropene (iPP) have been prepared using TiCl4/MgCl2/beta -diketone-MAO. The influences of AIM ratio and the polymerization temperature on the catalyst activity and the blend composition have been investigated. The catalyst shows a good activity of about 1.5 x 10(5) gB/ mol Ti.- h, and the sPS content can be controlled in the range of 55 wt% similar to 82 wt%. Thermal property and micromorphology have been studied with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
