英文摘要In this study, the spectral response of rice (Oryza sativa L.) under cadmium (Cd) stress was investigated in a pot experiment, by measurements of Cd accumulation in roots and leaves, leaf chlorophyll content and thickness, and spectral indices in the visible-near infrared spectra (reflectance at 550 nm (R(550)), 700 nm (R(700)), 850 nm (R(850)), red edge position (REP) and ratio vegetation index (RVI)). Results showed that Cd treatment in the soil resulted in accumulations of Cd in roots and leaves of the rice seedlings. The leaf accumulation of Cd increased the reflectivity in the visible light band and shifted REP to shorter wavelengths due to decrease of leaf Chl concentration, and lowered the near-infrared spectral reflectance due to reduction of leaf thickness. The leaf accumulation of Cd was positively correlated with R(550), R(700), REP and RVI and negatively with R(850). A strong mechanic correlation between REP and the level of Cd pollution in soil was established based on their significant relationships with the level of leaf Cd, providing a theoretical basis for remote sensing monitoring of Cd pollution in paddy fields.
