Inocutis subdryophila (Basidiomycota), a new polypore from China

英文摘要A new polypore, Inocutis subdryophila collected from Xizang Autonomous Region, southwestern China, is described and illustrated. The new species has ungulate basidiocarps with azonate upper surface; its core and tubes are corky when dry; hyphae of rnycelial flecks in its core are very thick (up to 12 mu m in diam), and contextual hyphae of the basidiocarp are thin-walled throughout; it was found on gymnosperm tree (most probably Abies). Inocutis subdryophila resembles I. dryophila in macroscopy, but differs by having smaller basidiospores (5.7-6.6 x 4.0-4.8 mu m vs. 7.2-8.2 x 5.4-6.1 mu m). The basidiospores of I. subdryophila are very similar to those of Inocutis rheades, but the latter has mostly applanate basidiocarps, and its upper surface is distinctly zonate and tomentose. I. rheades has a hard core, and its tubes are brittle when dry. In addition, hyphae of the mycelial flecks in its core are thin (2-3.5 mu m in diam), and its contextual hyphae vary front thin-walled to distinctly thick-walled.
