| 英文摘要 | The antiwear properties of sodium metaborate as an oil additive, the effect of dispersants, and the effect of water of hydration of sodium metaborate on the performance of sodium metaborate were studied using a Four-ball Machine and a Timken Tester. XPS and AES were used to study the rubbed surfaces. It was shown that sodium metaborate functions well as an antiwear additive due to the formation of a film containing sodium metaborate and white oil. The water of hydration of sodium metaborate reduces the antiwear function as tested on the Four-ball Machine, but improves its antiwear properties as tested on the Timken Tester. The sulfonate dispersant reduces the antiwear function of sodium metaborate, while succinimide dispersant enhances the antiwear ability. |
