The theoretical study on the decay processes of the 4d core excited states of CsIV

英文摘要By including the electron correlation and the relaxation effects, the energy level structures of the 4d core excited configuration 4d(9)5s(2)5p(5), final radiative configuration 4d(10)5s(2)5p(4) and final Auger configurations 4d(10)5s(2)5p(3) and 4d(10)5s(1)5p(4) of the Cs IV ion and all possible decay dynamic processes related to these configurations are systematically studied using multi-configuration Dirac-Fock method. The present study not only provides satisfactory results for the radiative transition energies, oscillator strengths and line widths in comparison with the existing semi-empirical calculations and related experiments, but also predicts some dominant features of the Auger electron spectrum emitted by the Auger decay process of the 4d(9)5s(2)5p(5) core excited states.
