Strong relaxation and correlation effects on the 2p(5)3s-2p(6) spectrum of neutral neon

| 英文摘要 | The effects of correlation and relaxation on the 2p(5)3s(1,3)P(1) - 2p(6) S-1(0) resonance and intercombination transitions of neutral neon have been studied systematically using the Multi-configuration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) method. Results are presented for the energies and lifetimes of the low-lying P-1,3(1) levels as well as the according transition probabilities. Lifetimes for the two metastable P-3(0,2) levels are obtained also from the calculation of the P-3(2) - S-1(0) magnetic-quadrupole (M2) and from the P-3(0) - P-3(1) magnetic-dipole (M1) and P-3(0) - P-3(2) electric-quadrupole (E2) transitions, respectively. Comparison is made for our theoretical results with previous computations and measurements; they are found to be in good agreement with recently evaluated data. |
