英文摘要The theoretical solution of the pump light absorption of a laser medium is presented. It is shown that the absorption of pump light with respect to the depth in the solid medium is not a simply exponential function. When the pump photon density is high enough, the variation of the absorption becomes nonexponential. These theoretical results have been verified by experiment with the medium of ruby.
