Shell model calculations for the beta-decays of the Sn isotopic chain

| 英文摘要 | In this paper, we investigate the beta-decay properties of ground states and isomers of Z = 50 Sn isotopes under the frame work of the nuclear shell model. It is noted that beta-decays of Sn isomers have rarely been calculated and the calculations of this article are interesting in this aspect. Contributions from both the allowed Gamow-Teller and the first-forbidden transitions are considered. Theoretical results of beta-decay half-lives and beta-decay Q values are tabulated and compared with the experimental data. Our calculated results of beta-decay half-lives and Q(beta) values support the viewpoint that N = 50 and N = 82 are magic numbers for unstable Z approximate to 50 isotopes. |
