英文摘要The production of (283)112 in Ca-48 induced nuclear reactions was investigated using physical and chemical separation techniques. In the reaction Ca-48 on U-238, four events were registered at the SHIP velocity filter. The mean atomic mass of the evaporation residues (EVR) was determined to be 286 +/- 10. In the Ca-48 on Pu-242 reaction, five events were found using the IVO thermochromatographic system. The observed chemical properties are typical for group 12 elements. Therefore, the atomic number is deduced to be 112. The measured decay properties of all events obtained in both experiments are in agreement with the results published from the DGFRS group. Hence, the findings bolster the production and observation of (283)112, (287)114, and (291)116.
