Unusual behaviour of fusion-fission at barrier energies for a neutron-rich halo nucleus

| 英文摘要 | Relative fission cross sections were obtained for Be-9 + U-238 and Be-11 + U-238. The results were analysed within a coupled-channel model. The fission excitation function for Be-9 + U-238 agrees with the fusion theoretical calculation while the fission excitation function for Be-11 + U could not be reproduced by a simple fusion calculation. |
