英文摘要An IC+PSSD (position sensitive silicon detector) telescope for the identification of heavy ion reaction products at low energy was developed. The telescope consists of an ionization chamber for the measurement of specific energy loss ΔE and a two-dimensional PSSD with the effective area of 45×45 mm2 and thickness of 45 μm for the measurement of the residual energy E. The performance of the IC detector was tested with alpha particle from the 241Am source. The operating conditions of the shaping time of 2.0μs, EGC=0.2 V/cm-torr and EAG/EGC=4.0 were recommended for the IC detector with P10 gas. The measured energy resolution is limited by the energy loss straggling in the gas and is close to optimum values of this kind of detectors.
