Identification of oblate band in odd-odd Au-184

英文摘要High-spin states in Au-184 have been populated via the Sm-149(Si-29, 4ngamma) Au-184 reaction at a beam energy of 140 MeV. Three- or higher-fold gamma-ray coincidences have been measured using the multidetector array of GASP. A rotational band built on the 11(-) oblate pih(1/2)(-1) circle times vi(13/2)(-1) structure has been newly observed, similar to those reported in Au186-194. This result extends the knowledge of shape coexistence to the currently lightest odd-odd An isotope.
