(EC/beta(+)) decay of Nd-130 and Tb-140

| 英文摘要 | Isotopes Nd-130 and Tb-140 were produced using enriched targets Ru-96 and Cd-106, respectively, bombarded by Ar-36 ion beam. The two nuclides were identified and studied by a He-jet tape transport system in combination with "X-gamma" and "gamma-gamma" coincidence measurements. The half-life of Nd-130 was determined to be (13 +/- 2)s. The EC/beta (+) decay scheme of Nd-130 was proposed for the first time,and the spins and parities of the ground-state and observed low-lying states in the daughter nucleus Pr-130 were speculated tentatively. The previous simple EC/beta (+) decay scheme of Tb-140 was revised, and the spin-parity of its ground-state was assigned to be 7(+). |
