Measurement of beta(+) delay proton decay of Al-23

| 英文摘要 | The beta (+) delay proton decay spectrum has been measured with TOF-DeltaE method and zero degree detectors at the radioactive ion beam line in Lanzhou. The half-life of Al-23 was determined to be T-1/2 = (476 +/- 45) ms by using a time scaler combined with the precision pulse generator which is consistent with the other group's result of (470 +/- 30) ms. The known beta (+) delay protons at E-d = 0.216,0.278,0.43810.479MeV have been observed in the experiment. A new energy level of Mg-23 at E-x = 8.916 MeV was found in the beta (+) delay proton decay of Al-23, and their relative intensity was also determined. |
