Angular distribution of neutrons caused by 75 MeV/u 16O ions in radiobiological experiment area

英文摘要The angular distribution of emitted neutrons with energy greater than 6 MeV in the 75 MeV/u 16O ion experimental area was measured by the activation method of Al threshold detector. The obtained result is useful to the radiation protection design for the heavy ion cancer therapy. The angular distribution is found strongly peaked in the forward direction.
