Frequency distributions of energy deposition in low energy electron track

英文摘要Based on the authors' Monte Carlo calculation model, frequency distributions of energy deposition in areas of a DNA segment and a chromatin fibre segment by a low energy electron are calculated in liquid water. The results are compared with those of the OREC code and the CPA code. These calculated results are theoretical evidence of a soft X-ray mechanism which was suggested by the authors in order to explain the physical mechanism of deep biological effect produced by low energy heavy ion implantation.
