英文摘要A simple and practical route for construction of various sulfonamides from nitroarenes and sulfonyl chlorides with iron powder as the sole reductant in water (green solvent) under open-air conditions was developed. The protocol features low-cost, environmentally benign solvent, mild reaction conditions and wide broad substrate scope.
