| 英文摘要 | We report here results from a Chandra ACIS observation of the stellar populations in and around the M17 H II region. The field reveals 886 sources with observed X-ray luminosities (uncorrected for absorption) between similar to 29.3 ergs s(-1) < log L(X) < 32.8 ergs s(-1), 771 of which have stellar counterparts in infrared images.
