中文摘要The Mg65Cu20Zn5Y10 bulk metallic glass was reinforced with 10 vol.% SiC or 15 vol.% TiB2 particles. The introduced particles have no significant adverse effect on the glass forming ability of the matrix glass. The compressive strength of the composites reached about 1 GPa. A plastic strain to failure of 0.9% was obtained for the TiB2 reinforced composite. (C) 2003 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
