Effect of oxygen content on phase transformation behaviour of Ti44Ni47Nb9 shape memory alloys

中文摘要The effects of oxygen content on phase transformation temperature, critical stress of stress-induced martensitic transformation, tensile ductility and shape memory strain of Ti44Ni47Nb9 alloy have been investigated. The results indicated that the oxygen results in a decrease in transformation temperature, an increase in the critical stress of stress-induced martensitic transformation and transformation hysteresis. There exists an optimal range of oxygen content, from 0.04 to 0.07 wt.%, for which Ti44N47Nb9 alloy exhibits the best shape memory strain and good ductility.
